Amir Leitersdorf - CEO and Co-Founder
Amir has extensive entrepreneurial and Internet technology background. He co-founded
and held the position of VP of Technology at Movota, (successfully sold to Bertelsmann
Group in 2005). Prior to Movota, Amir was the CTO of Tapuz, a leading Israeli web-technology
firm that has recently gone public successfully. Amir holds a B.A with honors in
computer science from the Open University of Israel.
Iri Amirav - CMO and Co-Founder
Iri brings strong online marketing experience having worked closely with top U.S.
and Israeli companies including Time Warner and Pelephone. He established and managed
the marketing division of MetaCafe and was responsible for a 2,500% growth to 17M
unique users and 450M pageviews per month. Iri holds a B.B.A in marketing (Magna
Cum Laude) from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY.
Tzachi Shahar - CTO
Tzachi brings 11 years of technology development and innovation and is considered
one of the top senior software engineers in Israel today. Prior to joining iMedix,
Tzachi managed a team of 100 developers as the CTO of Netwise (Owned by NetVision
Ltd, Tel Aviv stock exchange: NTZN). He holds a B.A. in computer science from the
Hadassah College in Jerusalem.
Guy Zipori - VP of Product
Guy brings 11 years of experience in developing and managing Internet projects. Prior to joining iMedix, Guy led a team of 7 engineers at Netwise to develop numerous advanced Internet applications. His team specialized in web 2.0 technologies such as AJAX and rich client application programming including search engine technologies.
Prof. Yuval Shahar – Chief Scientist
Prof. Shahar has more than 20 years of experience in advanced health- information retrieval
and application of artificial intelligence technologies to the health-care domain. He holds
a Ph.D. from Stanford University in medical information sciences, an M.S. in computer science
from Yale University and an M.D. from Hebrew University.
Dotan Cooper - Art Director
Dotan brings unique talent and 10 years of experience in communication arts, web design and GUI development. Prior to joining iMedix, Dotan held the position of VP Creative Director at leading internet advertising companies in Israel. Dotan holds a Digital Arts Master Program Diploma from The Center for Digital Imaging and Sound, Vancouver, Canada.
