I am interested in the following health related topics: Carcinoid Tumors, carcinoid cancer
A little bit about me:I was diagnosd with carcinoid cancer after I had surgery to remove my gall bladder. They found the primary in my small intestine and it had gone to the liver I had surgery to remove the primary and as much of the tumors from my liver then9/2006, I was haveing many test and all after this when it was found to be growing faster and I was sent to Emory in Atlanta on March 11 and had major surgery their to remove as much of the tumors as possible. During surgery one of the main ateries was cut and the doctor had to stop and repair it, they were able to continue the surgery but had to leave some of the tumor. I keep up with all doctor apointments and they have been pleased with my progress.
I am interested if anyone has this type cancer and how they are being treated?
