A little bit about me:I just wanted you to know I care. I know those fears you talk about. The kind of anxiety we have is a fear, fear without reason, just fear. It is fear worse than any other because we cannot remove ourselves from the situation which causes it. If something scares us, like a noise, we can move away from it, tell ourselves not to be scared and calm ourselves. The fear we have is inescapable. There are no words of comfort or calming from within or from our friends that will reduce the fear within. The fear continues sometimes for minutes sometimes for hours, sometimes for days. Sometimes this fear even invades our dreams and changes them to nightmares.

The only thing I have found that removes these unfounded fears is medication. In my case Prozac 10mg per day. Prior to medication some things that helped me get threw the bad ones, laying on a cold floor with my face to the ground, a cold wash rag on my neck and cold water splashed on my face, sucking on an orange or lemon cut into 1/4ths and held between my front teeth. Fresh cold air, lots of air.
