I read in a natural remedy book once that to rub mint oil on your temples will eleveate the headache, so I tried it once at a friends house when I had a pounding headache and sure enough, it worked!!! With no medicine at all just mint oil on cotton balls and rub on your temples for a while

Sometimes just relaxing and lying down helps a lot. Sometimes sleep is the only way to stop a headache. But I would still recommend to not suffer and take one-two pills of anti-pain medication to ease the pounding head. Be careful not to use too much medication because the irony is that taking more than 5-6 pills a week is known to cause withdrawl headaches..

But what if im not able to lay down....Is there another way. Most of the time i take aleve but it seems like it takes it forever to make my headache go away. I take excedrin every now and then but they really dont do anything. I used to take BC powder but i heard that it can and will eat out the lining of your stomach....so i try to avoid them.
