Go for a run, sweat it out then have some vitamin C and water. Or drink orange juice. Those things always make me feel better.

for natural remedies : drink a lot of water, grab some vitamin C, and maybe you want your meals to be hot soup or some other things like that. and make sure you have enough rest, it really will help.
if you feel you caught a cold, then just grab OTC drugs: Paracetamol, or Nyquil, etc. to help you relieve the cold symptoms

Always the fitness angle my friend :-) I like it. One of my best friends' dad prescribes this "medicine" exactly.

Sean- the best thing you can do is lay back, miss few days of work (don't tell them i said so;)), drink hot tea and watch old movies... there are medication that can reduce symptoms- but there is no reason to take them if it's not really agonizing.
take care!

Ah yes, being a lazy bum works sometimes. I find that it works best after I got a nice workout in. Then take a shower, kick your feet up and watch some tv.

go to the Doctor just to be sure you have a cold. If it's not a cold, you might have a sinus infection or allergies which can mimic a cold. In the meantime take 2 vitimin C's a day for one week and Echinacea pronounced echkinasha fund at most health food stores. It helps with colds, allergies and sinus infections. You want your body to heal so you won't get reinfected. Also wash your hands frequently and use a sanitizer spray on your hands when you can't get to water. You may also want to think about getting a flu shot as well if you suffer from frequent colds.

Go to a GOOD health food store and buy Oil of Oregano capsules; take one a day. Also get Source, "Welness Formula". Take as directed, 3, every 3 hours. Drink LOTS and LOTS of water! NO Dairy and no sugar! You'll be fine in a day! :)
