Usually before my dinner I take wine. Is it safe to ‘occasionally’ have a wine while pregnant? Now I am 2 months pregnant.

I strongly recommend ‘No’ to wine in this precious period of time. Alcohol can have a number of harmful effects on the baby. The baby can be born mentally retarded or with learning and behavioral problems that last a lifetime. We don’t know exactly how much alcohol is required to cause these problems. We do know, however, that these alcohol - related birth defects are 100% preventable, simply by not drinking alcohol during pregnancy.

It depends on how much wine you usually take before your pregnancy. A lot of studies encourage pregnant women to reduce (or even stop) the alcoholic-drinking-habit during the pregnancy, because it is related with the incidence of fetal abnormalities.
According to Keith Eddleman, MD (an expert in feto-maternal health), there is no available valid data to support how much drinking habit is safe during pregnancy. So, for a safe-way, I do encourage you to reduce the wine-drinking habit, and it will even be safer if you can stop that for "only-9-months".
Some pregnant women in French who are usually drink wine, have normal babies. But again, there's no valid data on research to support this.
