Different type of depression are (1) Dysthymia – it is characterized by long term depressed mood; say for 2 years.(2) atypical depression – regular and common to all humans. (3) Bipolar depression – it’s a complex mood disorder. (4)Seasonal affective depression (SAD) –this comes every year at the same time. (5) Postpartum depression – occur in women who have recently given birth.
Atypical is the most common type and less harmful at the initial stage but if the gravity of the problem related with its occurrence increases than it may increase to a higher level. In this type the depressed person may become completely happy if the surrounding or situation becomes pleasant.
