Any ideas why my sides get so cold?

After an extensive workout I've noticed that the sides of my body are ice cold to the touch, right below my rib cage. My chest and back near my spine are normal temperature to the touch. Any ideas why my sides get so cold?

  • Actually since your body temperature rises during a workout because of the (sorry for the pun) work... maybe you aren't working those muscles as much as you are supposed to be... or your body just raises temperatures in the places except for your sides... basically it's not your sides getting cold, it's the rest of your body heating up.
