It's a question I know but want to check your knowledge of: What causes melanoma? How can you prevent it?

How much do you know about UVA and UVB rays and how they affect your body? Do you know why tanning beds are more dangerous to us than the sun? Do you think that tanning beds are more safe than the sun and why? I'll provide feedback as I see some of your answers...answer truthfully without "Googling" your answers. You'd be surprised how little folks know about melanoma and how it can kill you.

  • melanoma is a cancerous mutation in a cell called melanocyte, a cell that is very common in the skin. it is happened by exposing to UV in excessive matter. tanning beds? they may use less kinds of rays but it still causes the same amount of damage. the proof for that is that the tanning we get is actually caused by the reaction of melanocytes to UV we get. it's all existence is to absorb bad UV rays and prevent it from harming other cells. they feel that we are exposed to UV and get darker.
