hello, lung cancer is a life threatening disease, you can do what you want,,but,,i wouldnt suggest it..there is no cure for lung cancer.lung cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in the united states.the peak age for lung cancer is 65 years for men and 70 years for women.the disease is uncommon before age 40,cigarette smoking is the main cause of lung cancer.living in a environment with a high level of air pollution or working with radiative minerals or asbestos may cause some cases of lung cancer.if lung cancer is diagnosed at an early age,,surgical removal of the lung maybe performed...surgery is usually possible only when the cancer is still fairly small

....and confined to one lung,,and when the patients general condition enables a major operation to be performed..anticancer drugs and radiation therapy may be used to maintain the spread of the tumor or destroy cancerous cells......overall,less than 10percent of lung cancer patients survive for more than 5 years after the disease is diagnosed..after surgery, the 5 year survival rate is between 15 and 30 percent...if the cancer has spread beyond the chest,a cure is highly unlikely

Cancer patients considering or using alternative or complementary therapy should discuss your decision with your nurse or doctor, as they would suggest any other salutary approach. Some alternative and complementary therapies may be harmful or may impede with standard treatment when used with usual treatment. It is wise to learn about the therapy and its results of scientific studies which support the claims that are made for it.
