I feel my son's friend is really addicted for smoking. what you feel?

My son`s friend had become heavily addicted to smoking. A year before he was having only 4 or 5 cigarettes and now he is almost taking 3-4 packs a day. I was surprised to see this big change. He says that this helps to reduce tension. I also take cigarettes and it’s true that it reduces the stress. But I he is not having such high stress that he would take 3 packs. I feel he is really addicted for smoking. What you feel?

  • You know nicotine, which is present in tobacco addict an individual to its usage and this also makes them dependent on smoking. I also think the same as you that this guy has been addicted to smoking.

  • hello,,i am going to be honest with you, your friend will get cancer of the lungs,if he continues to smoke,,i am a retired respiratory therapist/paramedic,it is my job to fix people who give themselves a respiratory disease, and cancer of the lung,it is not a pretty disease to die from.cigarette smoking is the main cause of lung cancer.the more cigarettes smoked per day and the lower the age at which smoking started, the greater the risk of lung cancer..most people who have lung cancer or getting lung cancer, will have a chronic cough from bronchitis, other symtoms include coughing up blood, shortness of breast, chest pain, and wheezing.....mrfoot56
