My uncle is diabetic and of late he has been diagnosed for glaucoma.will this get treated?

my uncle is diabetic and of late he has been diagnosed for Glaucoma. He went to the doctor for his eye checkup. As he was having pain in his eyes and also he was seeing halos around is any ray of light coming to him. For this difficulty he was diagnosed for glaucoma. They are going to perform a surgery on his eye and I want to know that how will this go? Will this get treated?

  • I think his doctor would have made it clear that this will be operated but still I must say that they will only treat temporarily and there is no permanent cure for glaucoma. But still some glaucoma gets cured sometimes.
