One of my friend suffering from bulimia nervosa.

One of my friend said to me that: “I'm an 18-year-old girl suffering from Bulimia Nervosa and I attend a **** Church. I am not getting anything from them even when I know only few people in my church family. Sometimes I feel not being cared by them”. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking on-line for hours trying to find info on eating disorders, but have come up empty handed. Please help me to help her.

  • You are not alone dear. This serious problem afflicts more than 1 out of 10 women and there are millions of males too affected by it. Twice as many teens suffer from it. These types of eating disorders can be really distressing and very unhealthy. They often involve complex problems such as fear, shame, guilt, excessive perfectionism, medical problems, faulty reasoning and even unresolved spiritual issues. If your loved one or you are suffering from an eating disorder then we strongly insist on you to seek professional help.
