Answers (1) to: "How do I treat a two day old migraine? "

  • Two important things in treating a migrane is 1)avoiding triggers (or stoping them)- such as stress, change in sleep patterns, change in diet etc. 2)using NSAID's such as Naproxen, Paracetamol.If the OTC drugs don't help, you can ask your doctor to prescribe you Sumatriptan that is excellent for severe migranes not responding to NSAID's.

    On a personal note, Sleep always helps me.

    I would advise you that if nothing helps you go see a doctor in the next couple of days.
