I can almost visualize possible sports injuries from these hair implements.

I have just enjoyed the weekend as a field marshal at the local football tournament. I spent a lot of time requesting female players including my daughter to pull out all the assorted hair clips and bobby pins from their hairs. As a mother and a nurse I can almost visualize possible injuries from these hair implements. But when I researched online I am unable to find any incidents or statistics involving such implements. Do you have any horror stories out there?

  • I am sure that 99% of people use their mouth to lever open the bobby pin to take off the rubber covering. Have you seen that? Yes, there is a girl in my volley ball team who got hit on the head from the serve ball and the hairclip made a deep hurt which bleeds for a while. So what you have said to your team is for their good.
