How is Lyrica working for you? Are you using other meds? I have it up to 300 mg,

theraputic level. We had to drop from 450 mg to 300 b/c I couldn't get rid of the headache( I have problems enough with migraines so I don't need the help) I wasn't chosen to take part in the next step of the study so when I go Thursday i guess we will talk about beginning to DC or to keep on it and see what my doctor reccommends. Are you happy with Lyrica??? Does it work for you? Do you take along with other medications? Would like some input before I go on Thursday. And everyone in the Fibro Community...I hope you are all well and if you have posted questions I would love to hear an update and see how you are doing. I just haven't been able to go back and start "checking in, between the fibro, life and the 3 year old I stay busy and now I am looking into a wedding. Pray for me :-)! God makes sure I have a reason to get out of bed even when I don't want to. LOL Thanks everyone for your input any advice is greatly appreciated!

    I'm New! I was on Lyrica because of nerve pain in my feet and legs from diabetes. It was a great help for this. Started having dreams and talking out loud and seeing things at night. Didn't know what was going on and dr. seen I was on he Lyrica and took me off and put me on amitryplene. I'm waiting to have surgery again on my lower back disc. Prev surgery (scope) didn't correct the problem at all. Now after 2 blockages recently, my heart Dr. doesn't won't me to have the surgery for at least 4 months. My pain in only after I've been on my feet for more than 5 minutes. No pain sitting or lying. I take hydrocodone 500/5 mg when needed. No more than once daily. Helps some but still no more than 5 min. walking. Saving money because I can't shop other than the internet. Started using wheel chair at grocery stores recently; hurts my pride but at least I can get out that way. I guess you think I'm very mouthly; I'm a little older than you; 60.     No I don't think you are mouthy. I love getting to know people and getting input on your experiences! I am lucky I can walk and that's what I tell everyone I am in pain BUT I am blessed there are people out there a lot worse off than me! Thanks for the input on meds. I go to the doctor Thursday and I just don't think the Lyrica is going to work I am sooooo moody!!!! I can't stand myself :-) I also love camping and being outdoors and all the ways I am hindered in that upsets me terribly! I know what you mean about those grand babies! I am raising Dakota and have 4 others...they are my reason to keep going! I wish you the best and God bless!

    i started Lyrica about 5 months ago, it has improved ny state actually, and it is very nice! but i did develop...well...sort of hostile behavior. i couldn't understand why i'm yelling and getting annoyed from things that didn't matter to me before. but the doc lowered the dose and it is balanced again.

    Thank you for you input...I saw the doctor yesterday so we have already decided how to handle medication...I am going to try to continue while adding back pain meds I was on and see how that works...glad it is helping you and yea when i was on the 450mg I think I was experincing what you did!
