why do alternativ treatments are so popular now days ?
What about chinese medicine ? are they also popular ?

i think there's an understanding that much suffering can be avoided by preventing diseases. and Chinese medicine is all about preventing diseases more then treating them. in general - medicinal help have great advantages and disadvantages, one great disadvantage is that drugs affect many systems in the body and not just the target we intend to. alternative treatments avoid that.
