Is it wise to clean an imported expensive down pillow formerly used by my uncle with MRSA for safe use for others in my family without MRSA?

  • This is what the Centers for Disease Control suggests: Do not share personal items. Keep away from sharing personal items [whether it is costly or cheap], such as uniforms or clothing, razors, washcloths, towels which may have contact with the unhygienic bandage or wound. Wash clothes, towels and sheets that turn out to be soiled with laundry detergent and water. Use a dryer to dry clothes completely. Now the decision is yours.

  • Definitely! Anything that is in contact with the infected person must be cleaned/sanitized thoroughly before being used by anyone else.

I have a disagreement with this film with one thing:
MRSA IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE SUPERBUG DUE TO IT BEING SO HARD TO TREAT COMPARED TO OTHER INFECTIONS!!!!
