My uncle has been diagnosed with diabetes type 1.

My uncle has been diagnosed with Diabetes type 1. He has to rely on insulin injection from now onwards. He has to take this injection almost every day. This is a very bad time of his life. I have heard that this can lead to other severe health problems. What are they and how would they impact his life?

  • Any severe health problem will make his life worse. It is better that he helps himself by regulating his life. He has to follow the instructions given by the doctor. He is prone to kidney diseases and heart diseases. He also has a risk for eye problem.
