Yes exercise is useful for many who have been diagnosed for Arthritis. But before starting on any treatment, you must take an advice from the doctor. A simple and effective exercise which helps in the bending, movements of the whole body is useful.

Regular, moderate exercise offers a whole host of benefits to people with arthritis. Mainly, exercise reduces joint pain and stiffness, builds strong muscle around the joints, and increases flexibility and endurance. But it also helps promote overall health and fitness by giving you more energy, helping you sleep better, controlling your weight, decreasing depression, and giving you more self-esteem. Furthermore, exercise can help stave off other health problems such as osteoporosis and heart disease. BUT work with her doctor to determine the right solution and exercise program for your
wife's specific situation. This will depend on type of arthritis, location(hands, knee, hips, etc) and other health problems she may have. He may recommend physical therapy so they can work with her to help her with an exercise program and teaching her to properly do the exercises so she doesn't do any harm. There are several web-site but I don't feel comfortable recommending I think you should discuss
