can you fly after a first seizure

I have a holiday booked but recently had a first seizure. Can I still fly?

  • Everything I have read on line seems to say you should have no problems. I would suggest a medical alert bracelet and if flying with someone make sure they are aware and can help if they need to. I understand the crews on the plane are great.Good Luck and May God go with you and yours.

  • Brwnis65 is right. You should have a medical alert bracelet and any medication that you may require available with you at all times on the flight. If someone is going with you and knows about your condition, this may benefit you as well. Otherwise, you can always simply inform one of the crew of the flight if you comfortable with that so they are made aware. Have a great flight.
