My friend has been diagnosed with Hives. After the diagnosis he has been advised by the doctor to prefer better lifestyle and to reduce the stress factor. He doubts that stress increases the symptoms for Hives. Is stress so dangerous?

Yes it is a big culprit, which would steal the health of the person, without their knowledge. It is always advisable to learn the art of reducing stress. Stress can trigger Hives and it can also lead many serious health and emotional issues.
