how long does it take for the swelling to go down and it also rediates up the back of my calf
I FELL ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO OFF OF A LADDER FACE FIRST AND WHEN I DID ICAUGHT MYSELF TRYING TO PREVENT MYSELF FROM FALLING BUT THE ER DOCTOR SAID THAT JUST MY ANKLE WAS SPRAINGED AND THAT WAS IT BUT WHEN I FELL I HEARD SOMETHING SNAP LIKE IT WAS THE BONE IN MY BIG TOE AND WHEN I TAKE THE WRAP OF MY ANKLE IS MAKEING IT LOOK SIDEWAYS IS THAT NORMAL AND I CANT FIND ANYTHING TO GET RID OF THE PAIN ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR ME I COULD USE IT RIGHT NOW.

did they do an x-ray? if they did- then the doctor is probably right and the deformation is due to the edema that developed. it takes a week-week and a half to the swelling to go down. if they didn't do an x-ray, it might be a good idea to do just in case...
