my father in law had a ha today and they told him it was a blood clot... can he have more than one clot ?

    my aunt had a blood clot and she got blood thinners afterwards in order to avoid a second one. it did help for 10 years...but she had another one about 7 months ago and she passed away...so i guess if it happen once- it will probably happen again...sorry...
