How long it takes to have heart disease to a person who has been diagnosed for hypertension?
My brother is having hypertension and his doctor told him that he is on high risk to have heart disease. He has been strictly advised to control his hypertension. I want to know that how long it takes to have heart disease to a person who has been diagnosed for hypertension?

Apart from the hypertension, food and lifestyle is also an important factor to have heart disease. We cannot specify any time period but it is sure that a high risk is always associated with that.
