  • This is most likely a consequence of the withdrawal from methadone which is very tough, even tougher than heroin they say. If you go to your doctor, he can give you a medication to keep the restlessness down. You can also try warm or cold baths and relaxation therapy although I think that is probably not in the scope of your recovery. This is happening because you took away the stimulus for the receptors in your brain, mainly, the opioids. If this is hurting your sleep or your daily life, see your doctor to get some help. Keep fighting thought. It is a worthwhile fight to win.
