How will this endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy surgery help and is it essential for Hyperhidrosis?
My brother has been diagnosed for Hyperhidrosis. He was sweating heavily and this was happening without any conditions which could lead to high sweat. Now the doctor has decided to go for a surgery. By next week he will be operated and the name of surgery is endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy. How will this surgery help and is it essential?

The necessity could only be decided by the doctor but I can say that it has a good success rate and it has helped to reduce in excess of sweating.
