What is the reason which may cause Alopecia areata?

What is the reason which may cause Alopecia areata? My friend has been diagnosed with Alopecia areata. He is experiencing terrific hair and this makes him depressed. He is shouting and fighting with others for unknown reasons.

  • The known reason is autoimmunity. But how does the autoimmunity occurs, which leads to the fall of hair, is still unknown.
