Answers (1) to: "What is diabetes?"

  • Type 1 means our body could not make enough insulin, which breaks down the sugar in our blood. This is why inhabitants with Type I diabetes take insulin injections to get their blood sugar down. Type II means our cells do not know how to use the insulin properly, and so they have high blood sugar.
