Is this Huntington’s disease a hereditary disease?

My aunt is diagnosed for Huntington's disease recently. Is this Huntington’s disease a hereditary disease? Will it flow from generation to generation if yes how can this be treated? Are there any treatments available for this disease?

  • This is a hereditary disease that affects generation after generation. There is medicine available for the disease to reduce the symptoms but not for the complete treatment of the disease.
