  • Hi Jay85,
Gluten-free diet is normally prescribed for psoriasis. Avoid juices of citrus fruits. Include more of raw vegetables and fruits in your breakfast such as apples, grapes, peaches, pineapple, raw nuts etc. Include more of fresh vegetable salad and sprouts in your lunch. Include more of steamed vegetables in dinner. Avoid animal fat, eggs, butter, white sugar, tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco etc. Supplements of vitamin E and B complex can be included. Hot Epsom salt bath also helps. Expose the affected areas in sunlight. Adequate sleep and rest is needed. Fresh air exposure is must. Medications such as corticosteroids are helpful along with topical applicants and phototherapy.
