post cholecystectomy incisional hernia

I have just been told that I have an incisional hernia. This abdominal swelling developed since I had my gall bladder removed about one year ago. My operation was performed by the new method. What are my options now to have a repair carried out?

  • Based on your diagnosis, you may need to go for a surgery to recover from this hernia. Major surgical methods, does carry the risk for hernia and especially at those sites of the operation, where the surgical incision were made. The complete details need to be looked upon and your treating doctor can help you in it.
