Can this Meniere’s disease be treated?

My friend’s dad has been diagnosed for Meniere's disease recently. My friend noticed that his dad was unable to hear simple sounds. It all started when he got injury on his ear during an accident. Can this Meniere’s disease be treated?

    The symptoms of the Meniere’s disease can be treated but this disease cannot be treated completely. He can be assisted with the hearing aid for the rest of the life.
