Is it ok for her to undergo bone marrow transplant?

My friend’s wife has been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia and it is almost six months. She has undergone chemotherapy treatment but it is not helping her in the treatment of the disease. Is it ok for her to undergo bone marrow transplant?
