Paranoia on it's own, is not a condition but a symptom of a condition. Schizophrenia is the most common illness associated with paranoia, but there are other illnesses as well that can cause this symptom. Major depression, bi-polar disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and dementia may also cause paranoia. Isolation is a typical behavior in people who suffer paranoia; they become fearful, and feel like others are "out to get them. Treatment depends on the specific condition (such as schizophrenia) the person has been diagnosed with. However, treatment usually involves drug management and sometimes it can take a while find the right drug or combination of drugs to treat the disorder.

The best and the assured treatment for the paranoia come from the psychotherapy. They can treat him by knowing the cause of the fear he is facing and treating him according to that earlier the treatment he can get well really soon.
