What increases the risk for Parkinson's disease?

What increases the risk for Parkinson's disease? I am worrying about my situation at my old age. My uncle has been diagnosed for Parkinson's disease. He has become forgetful and I also feel that he will not be able to recover out of it.

  • Anything from an increasing age to an inherited pattern can lead to Parkinson's disease in an individual. Male are more likely to have it and the reason for this is not known.

  • I hear masturbation increases the risk... or was that blindness? Who knows these days... Are you going blind? I know the cause for that.
