Medicines will help in reducing in his symptoms for Psoriasis but they cannot treat him that he never has any more chances to have Psoriasis, ever in his life. That type of medicine is yet not found and we are far away from it.

It's true that psoriasis cannot be cured, it can however, be treated. If your brother has not seen a dermatologist, (skin doctor), I suggest he find one and make an appointment (you can do this on the internet or by looking in the Yellow Pages). His treatment will largely be determined by how severe it is and how much of his body is affected. Steroid creams and ointments are commonly used to treat psoriasis, along with moisturizers containing something called petrolatum (like vaseline). More severe cases sometimes require shots of a drug that suppress the immune system - a few examples of these are Enbrel and Humira; these can only be given by a doctor. Keeping the skin well moisturized is important for controlling the itching; dryness of the skin causes the itching. And I'll let you in on a little secret (don't tell anyone), spending 4 min sessions 3 times a week in a tanning bed works wonders for clearing up psoriasis. (it worked for me)!
