My grandfather has undergone surgery for cataract recently. It was carried out last week and he is fine now. Is there a chance that he may get the cataract in other eye and if so how can this be avoided?

  • It happens mainly due to the deficiency of vitamin A and due to the dust. It rarely occurs after the surgery but care should be taken where the surgery is performed to prevent the infection.
