Is there a chance that the occasional drinking habit could turn the person in to alcoholism?

My friend is an occasional drinker and I fear that he may turn in to alcoholic. Is there a chance that the occasional drinking habit could turn the person in to alcoholism. If so how can this are avoided in the initial phase?

  • It all depends on the person and the limit they are consuming if he is an occasional drinker then there is no harm. If this habit continues and he continues drinks a lot then he must b given counseling and treated in the rehab center.
