What are the causes of the heart attack?
My father had an heart attack recently. What are the causes of the heart attack? My father never drinks alcohol and smoke but he used to get hyper tension very often could this be a chance for the heart attack he is facing?

The known cause for the heart attack at present is the alcohol consumption, hypertension, blood pressure and the smoking. If a person avoids this and follows a healthy life style with regular exercise can help him to avoid the further risk of the heart attack.
