Is this ok for her to continue with the same medicine for the bipolar mania?

My sister in law has been diagnosed for the bipolar mania. She is such a nice person and suddenly she started showing odd behavior. The treatment started for the mania few months ago and she is showing some positive effects to the medicine and the therapies that is being given to her. Is this ok for her to continue with the same medicine?

  • Absolutely. When a person starts a regimen for bi-polar disorder, they should not stop, alter or change it in any way (especially if its working!) without permission or guidance from their doctor.

  • If she is fine and showing improvement then it is ok for her to continue. This medicine s will be continued until the basic treatment is given the course of the treatment will vary according to the stage in the improvement of the bipolar disorder.
