What is the cause for the sleep apnea?

My friend’s father has been diagnosed for Sleep apnea. This is such a problem that he cannot sleep during the night and excess daytime sleep eats all his energy. He snores a lot and getting to see him treated is not possible at present. What is the cause for the sleep apnea?

  • Being overweight increases the risk for sleep apnea. Generally ageing might increases the risk for sleep apnea. But the combination of ageing combined with obesity or over weight may have a really troubling sleep apnea.
