What is the prevention plan for newly born to be well from cough?

My baby is newly born and she is having her first cough. She is coughing light, at present. I think that it might increase. Her nose has started to flow and I guess that it would increase her problems. What is the prevention plan for her to be well?

    Generally the newborn will get the good amount of antibodies to combat the infectious agents that may be infecting your child. It takes time in days for the cold and cough to reduce.
