SYMPTOMS

  • Manifestations of angioedema can be well distinguishable or hidden if it affects only internal organs.
  • Edema of scrotums, lips, cheeks, eyelids, mucous membranes of mouth, backside of feet and palms. In such cases hypostasis is dense; no traces remain on skin at pressing. This type of giant hives release in 2-3 days.
  • In hypostasis areas you can feel skin tension and straining, there is practically no pain at the same time.
  • At a laryngeal edema hoarse cough is noted, voice becomes gruff, respiratory difficulty and short wind appear, the face becomes blue and sharply turns pale. The throat swells in a third of cases which is life-threatening.
  • At hypostasis of internals vomiting, sharp pains in the stomach, diarrhea can be observed. If the bladder swells, problems with urination and small gripes can appear.
  • Besides Quincke's edema in children can manifest by pricking of the tongue and roof of the mouth, vomiting, diarrhea with GIT swelling, also fever, strong excitement, joint pains, consciousness loss.
