I am Dr. Amrutha, a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a specialized focus and advanced training in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery. My clinical journey, which includes previous roles as a Junior Consultant at Apollo Cradle and as an Assistant Professor, has provided me with extensive experience across both high-acuity patient care and academic medicine. I have pursued dedicated fellowships in Minimal Access Gynaecological Endoscopy and hold certifications in Robotic Surgery from leading international societies, such as the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery. This formal training is complemented by significant hands-on experience, having performed over a hundred robotic procedures for benign gynaecological conditions, which allows me to offer patients the benefits of precision surgery with minimal recovery time.

Beyond the operating room, I am deeply committed to advancing our field through education and research. I serve as an active peer reviewer for the Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology India and have contributed to the medical literature through numerous publications, textbook chapters, and conference presentations on minimally invasive techniques. My academic interests are broad, encompassing the surgical aspects of women's health as well as critical advocacy issues such as infertility and violence against women. I believe this integration of surgical excellence, active teaching, and dedicated scholarship is essential for providing holistic care and for shaping the future of gynaecological practice to be more effective, compassionate, and innovative.
