Anorgasmia is one of the most common sexual disorders. This condition is described inability to experience orgasm both during sexual intercourse with a partner and during masturbation. In most cases, this trouble is detected in women. In men such disorder is quite rare.

Anorgasmia is well studied by medical specialists. The disorder is presented in ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases of the 10th revision) under the code F52.0. Although this disease is considered in the context of pathologies associated with loss of sexual desire, this state has a number of differences from female sexual coldness – frigidity and lack of sexual desire in men – diminished sexual libido. It can also be combined with the complete disappearance of sexual desire or a partial decrease in interest to opposite sex– hypolibidinousness.

In anorgasmia women and men retain a natural interest in people of the opposite sex. Their body requires regular intimate relationships. Such a person experiences excitement when communicating with an individual of the opposite sex. However, despite the existing desire, a sincere sexual interest in a partner, a person is not able to reach the peak of enjoyment. Orgasm does not occur, despite the foreplay and the use of additional intimate stimulation, for example: viewing of erotic films.

Such disorder is a combination of three phenomena that can be manifested in humans in different level. The main symptom of anorgasmia is the lack of ability to reach orgasm. In this case, the patient retains the opportunity to experience sexual arousal. He feels a pleasant sensation during a sexual contact.

Symptoms of such a problem are often burdened by psychological discomfort. In advanced cases, the person can develop deep despair and depressive mood. He feels defective, abnormal, and quite often loses sense of purpose. A long course of pathology leads to the fact that the individual completely refuses to participate in sexual intercourses, which causes irreparable harm to psychological and general health condition.

There are a lot of various causes of this disorder. And only in some cases the pathology results from some congenital sexual system pathology. Almost always this abnormal state is acquired in the course of a person’s life. In most cases, this problem results form the disregard of one’s own health, the wrong way of life, non-observance of the working and rest regime.
