Chronic lower back pain – need advice

Hello all. I’ve been dealing with chronic lower back pain for a few years now, and nothing seems to help. I’ve tried physical therapy, stretches, and pain meds, but the relief is always temporary. It’s really affecting my ability to work and enjoy life. I’m wondering if there are any long-term solutions for managing this kind of pain. Would surgery be an option, or are there less invasive treatments I should consider? I’m at my wits’ end here and just want to feel normal again.

  2. I get how frustrating that can be. If physical therapy and meds aren’t working, you might want to see a specialist to explore other options. Sometimes injections or alternative therapies like acupuncture can help. Surgery is usually a last resort, so I really recommend you to have a discussion with a doctor.

  4. I’m sorry to hear about your ongoing pain. If physical therapy and meds aren’t working, it’s worth discussing with a specialist about more long-term options. Surgery might be an option, but explore less invasive treatments like injections or advanced physical therapy first.
