Jet lag nightmare – still messed up after 2 WEEKS back from Europe?

I just back from a 10-day trip to Germany (from US East Coast, 6hr time diff). It’s been TWO WEEKS and I still feel awful! Can’t fall asleep before 2-3 AM, exhausted all day, brain fog. Tried melatonin (did nothing) and strict sleep schedule. Coffee makes me jittery but doesn’t wake me up properly. Is this normal for jet lag to last this long? Any tricks or supplements that actually worked for you to reset faster? Desperate for sleep!

  1. Two weeks is a long time, but honestly, it took me almost three to feel normal after my last trip to Europe. Melatonin never worked for me either, it just gave me weird dreams. What finally helped was forcing myself to get morning sunlight as soon as I woke up, even if I was tired. Like, 15 minutes outside with my coffee (decaf after noon though!). Also, magnesium glycinate before bed really quieted my racing mind.
