Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose midwifery in order to help give women more control and autonomy in regards to healthcare decisions. It a privilege to get to work alongside women through all stages of life.What I want my patients to know about me:Women’s health is my passion and making sure women feel understood and supported, whether in a general well woman’s visit, to the birth of a child, I am excited to be a part of the process! Specific interests involve currently pursuing a certification as a menopause practitioner as well as a sexual assault nurse examiner, two areas I am interested in learning more about in order to further serve the women I provide care for.What I do when I’m not seeing patients:When I’m not seeing patients, I am spending time with friends and family. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and reading.
