Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:Practicing medicine allows me to work in a field that is interesting, challenging, and never boring. The human body is the most amazing creation and typically needs little intervention to maintain a healthy state. Having the opportunity to educate others on how to maintain and regain health is very satisfying. What I want my patients to know about me:I encourage my patients to actively participate with me in managing their health. What I do when I’m not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children. We lead an active lifestyle and enjoy spending time outdoors, biking, hiking, or on the water. Our favorite vacations are anywhere there is sand. I also like to refinish furniture and bring new life/purpose to someone else’s junk.
